BVI’s Jost Van Dyke has its first luxury hotel

There’s a new luxury hotel on one of the Caribbean’s most beloved small islands: Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands.

Jost, as it is affectionately known, has long been famous for its enviable collection of world-famous beach bars, from the famous Soggy Dollar Bar to the legendary Foxy’s.

And while the island has always been home to a fine collection of vacation rentals and, at times, gorgeous tiny beach hotels, now there’s something very different.

Yes, each villa has its own plunge pool.

It’s called the Hideout, and it’s a seven-villa complex that’s definitely a new level of accommodation for Jost.

It’s located on White Bay, which means you can walk to all the great beach bars on the Little Shore, including, yes, Soggy.

But this is not the greatest convenience.

Each of the villas comes with its own private pool, one of the hottest trends in travel today.

Villas are a mix of beachfront ocean view units and hillside garden rooms, available as one or two bedrooms.

These are also equipped with full kitchens.

And then there’s the party: dinner at Hideout is at Hendo’s Hideout, another classic beach bar in Jost, from which the hotel takes its name.
